Two college students living in Iowa City with light bank accounts but heavy passions for food.

I like food. Enough said. But more specifically - coastal crabs, early afternoon dim sum, meaty shish kabobs, fresh sushi, juicy burgers, non-greasy fries, authentic Chinese, crisp onion rings, buttery scallops, hot amish breads, chewy brownies, fruit smoothies, just-out-of-the-oven cookies, and my grandmother's jiao zhi are just some of my favorites. Cookingwise, I'd ideally prefer low fat, organic, and saltfree, but the effort and pricetag required to not compromise on the taste can be a little daunting.
Besides food, I also like good music, good company, and good books.

Food is intrinsically part of who I am, from watching my grandfather meticulously go through rice fields to seeing my mother makeup recipes on the spot, food has permeated into every area of my home life. Some favorites are: hot cheddar baked biscuits from Red Lobster, anything from the Cheesecake Factory, tropical rainforest from Formosa, warm white chocolate chip cookies, raspberry creamed honey , and anything my mom makes.
Secretly, I aspire to be a food photographer (Food Network, if you are reading this, contact me ASAP!)
